Last time I flew into Harare the health officer pulled my vaccine card because I had connected through a yellow fever zone in East Africa, so I still needed to show proof even though Zimbabwe itself does not require a shot for everyone. Covid paperwork is gone, just be ready to answer if you feel sick and keep a mask handy in case of a congested bus or airport

Carry the yellow fever certificate if you spent time in a risk country within six days before arrival, even if you were just transiting through Addis or Nairobi, because they do enforce it at passport control. No Covid test or vaccine is required now, but bring the latest proof of travel insurance that covers medical evacuation, plus copies of your malaria meds because this is high-risk ground. Keep the vaccine card in your carry-on and a photo on your phone so you can show it quickly at the airport or any roadblock.
