Domestic Chile flights usually allow a carry-on plus a personal item; I carried a small bag and a daypack, smooth through security.

Domestic flights in Chile usually let you bring one carry-on and a personal item; checked bags aren’t usually included and costs vary by airline and fare. On a SCL, Puerto Montt JetSMART flight I paid for a checked bag separately, so now I pack light or pay for add-ons in advance.

When I flew Santiago to Puerto Montt, I had a carry-on plus personal item; checked bags vary by fare, check LATAM, SKY, or JetSMART rules.
